Jewellery Care

To maintain the pristine condition of your fine jewelry, including silver, gold, and platinum pieces with or without precious and semi-precious stones, follow these simple guidelines:

Firstly, store your jewelry in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent tarnishing.

Use separate compartments or soft pouches to avoid scratches and minimise contact between different pieces.

Regularly clean your jewellery with a mild detergent, such as fairy liquid, and a soft brush, such as an old toothbrush. Take care to reach intricate details and crevices.

For gemstones, consult specific care guidelines, as some may require gentler cleaning methods. Take exceptional care with pearls and opals.

Lastly, remove jewellery before engaging in strenuous activities such as going to the gym.

Remove jewellery before exposing it to harsh chemicals.  This includes perfumes, suncreams as well as more obvious cleaning chemicals.

Silver jewellery that has tarnished will come back to life after dipping it in a silver dip solution.  You can find this in your local supermarket or hardware store.  Just be aware that pearls and opals should not be submerged.

These steps will ensure a prolonged life offer your fine jewellery.
